I have to le t e ve ryone in on one of the be st podcasts around. It’s calle d The Totally Rad Show (or TRS) and it is a vide o podcast of thre e guys talking about movie s, TV, vide o game s and comics. Now although I am only re ally inte re ste d in tw o of those things, TV and film, I love e ve ry e pisode of the ir show . The hosts, Ale x, Je ff, and Dan, have be e n running it for about four ye ars and re ally know the ir stuff. Not to say I alw ays agre e but the y are de finite ly know le dge able and the y make e ach discussion inte re sting and informative .
I’m probably not the ir targe t audie nce , conside ring most e nte rtainme nt base d podcasts are more focusse d tow ards me n, but I don’t fe e l patronise d or out-of-the -loop by not know ing ce rtain re fe re nce s. The y also have impromptu game s and almost e ve ry show offe r a discount for some w e bsite or anothe r, although many of the m are US base d. The y’ve also manage d to introduce me to loads of ne w w e bsite s and films and got me de spe rate for a console , any console !
